Deutsche Mutual Fund

Deutsche Mutual Fund is promoted by Deutsche Bank AG, one of the largest banking groups in the world with close to $1 trillion of assets on its balance sheet. The bank operates in over 70 countries with interests in retail and corporate banking, asset management and wealth management services.

The sponsor of the fund is Deutsche Asset Management Asia Limited. Deutsche Bank Asset Management India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, is the investment manager to the fund. The operations of the AMC are headed by Sandeep Dasgupta, chief executive officer.

As of Aug 2006, the fund has assets of over Rs.6,742 crore under management.
