As a result, water therapy is used widely for the treatment of varied diseases.

Water therapy is one of the simplest methods to cleanse your body and mind from toxins. On the physical level, it serves as a remedy for many diseases and on the mental level negative habits fades away. This is why it is said that drinking plenty of water detoxifies the body completely. There are a number of diseases that can be cured by water therapy such as headache, obesity, kidney stone, joint and back pain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, gastric disorders, constipation, insomnia, arthritis, pimples, dark circles etc.

The most striking feature of the therapy is that it is very easy to perform. To observe water therapy one should take a liter or a liter and a half of water early in the morning, empty stomach. Each glass of water should be taken at a stretch. Initially there might be problem in practicing the therapy, but with time the body will get used to it. The schedule should not be hampered for three months for best results. High cholesterol food should also be avoided during this period of time. However, there is a word of caution attaches with the water therapy. One should only practice it after due consultation with his doctor. This is because everybody has a different body and the therapy might not suit everyone equally.
