Design & Comfort
According to the management itself, the Drophead is a less formal interpretation of classic Rolls Royce design that captures the essence of adventure of the 1930s. The exterior, combined with a unique raked grille and the flowing lines of the car, gives a sense of spirit and momentum even at rest. The roomy interiors with 12 shades of options for leather upholstery and finest wood veneers make up for one luxurious driving experience and the comfort and entertainment features like cup holders, tachometer, air conditioner with air quality control and automatic climate control, seat lumbar support, 12 inch LCD screen and mp3 player with Logic7 surround system, emergency telematics, bluetooth, and a two piece picnic trunk lid make the experience even more deeply etched in the memory. And last but not the least, the five-layer convertible top comes down at ease with a touch of a button, providing you with a natural “one with the wind” pleasure of driving without feeling trapped inside.
It’s the same engine with which the phantom coupe has been loaded with. This 6.75L 12 cylinder engine with direct fuel injection system delivers a maximum power of 453 Bhp @ 5350 rpm and maximum torque of 720 Nm @ 3500 rpm. It boasts of a displacement of 6749 cc and reaches 0-100 kmph in about 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph. It delivers a mileage of 5 kmpl in the city and 8.5 kmpl on highways.
Think of it as being with the Phantom who’s been suddenly blessed with superman’s ability to fly at will. And without having to worry about falling down as of course, the eye of the phantom will still be watching over you with features like 8 airbags in front and back, looking after safety of all: driver and passengers, anti lock braking system, brake assist function, dynamic stability control, dynamic traction control, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, keyless entry, parking sensors, engine immobilizer, child safety locks, and run flat tires.
