Hero Honda Glamour

Hero Honda Glamour
Equipped with all market friendly features, it is the bike for every kind of customers and with different choices. Super Splendor and Glamour are the same bike with different looks. The bike performs well and shows excellent road behavior.

Looks and Styling
Chequered decals which run the length of the bike lend a glamorous touch to the Glamour. The front mudguard sports a dual-tone theme that is carried over on the chain guard. The bike has glamourous, bold structure which comes with very stylish and rare stripes. Some of its stylish features are attractive tri-pod instrumental panel, muffed muffler with heat guard, large silver color utility box etc. Its lighting fittings include multi-reflector tail light, modern visor, multi-reflector winkers, etc. The bike is available in colors like Candy Blazing red, Black with Blue Stripes, Excellent Blue Metallic, Vibrant Green Metallic, Cloud Silver Metallic, Black with Yellow Stripes, Palace Maroon Metallic, Impulse Orange Metallic, and Frost Blue Metallic.

Control and Comfort
The commuter has upright riding posture on Glamour, with twin telescopic-forks and dual rear suspension. The bike incorporates thicker rear rubber to facilitate efficient handling. The bike has excellent low end characteristics, which means minimum gear changing in city traffic as well as good mileage / average in city traffic, even riding double seat. Glamour has a 13.6 litre fuel tank and 240 mm disc brake in comparison of Super Splendor which has a 12 litre tank and a 215 mm disc.

Engine
The bike is equipped with an air-cooled, four-stroke and single cylinder Quantum Core engine with a 124.8cc displacement. However, the engine lacks substantial punch and it takes the Glamour 7.37 seconds to zip from rest to 60kph. Performance of the Glamour is quite good on the mileage front. The bike has well thought-out gear ratios, a de-stressed motor and roller bearings on the rocker-arm fingers all of which work towards enabling a healthy mileage. On city roads, the bike returns 55.2 kilometres per litre while on the highway, it turns pretty impressive 58.3kpl.
