How To Reach Port Blair

A former colonial island and the capital of Andaman archipelagos, Port Blair is a beautiful isle surrounded by languid turquoise colored waters of Bay of Bengal and by several other smaller islands in the area. For several decades, Port Blair remained as a clandestine place to rest of the world, despite it being a colony of the British East Indian Company. Formerly known as the 'Black Waters' and a well known solitary confinement during the British India, today, however the islet has a reputation for being one of the best holiday vacations in India. With its pristine sandy beaches, barmy weather, perfect water condition for a surf and great views of the sunset. The beaches in Port Blair are the best place to experience uninhabited and unadulterated waters of the Bay of Bengal.
