Pajama Party Planning |
A pajama party is probably the simplest party of all.
Not much of planning is required unless your guests are really young
kids. Pajama party planning includes nothing more food, movies,
invitations and some decorations if necessary. This section has
information regarding pajama party planning tips. So in case you are
thinking about how to plan slumber party, read this section that will
provide you with many ideas and tips to plan your pajama party.
- Make sure you send out invitations at least 2-3 weeks before the
sleepover is planned. Others also have to adjust their schedules and
make sure they are free to help if possible.
- Tell other parents to call up once after they leave their kids at
your place. Some kids can get homesick and inform the parents that
they may have to come back to pick up their kid if he/she really
wants to go back.
- Tell the guests to set up their sleeping bags as soon as they
come to your place. Make sure you have ample space for everyone to
lie down comfortably.
- It is best to stay outdoors for as long as it is possible since
staying up the whole night in one single room can be a bit
claustrophobic for some.
- Make sure you play those active games before you sit down for
dinner. After dinner, strictly tell that no one will be allowed
outside. Everyone can stay indoors and play indoor games that are a
fun way to pass time.
- Make sure you have some good movies to select from and loads of
snacks for midnight raids. Keep everything that is useful in the
room and make sure it is easily reachable. Keep stocks of towels,
eatables, water and other essentials at a place that is easy to
reach by the kids themselves.
- Drop in the room occasionally to check if everything is okay. At
the same time, respect their independence and privacy.
- Keep a simple breakfast for the next morning like smoothies,
omelets, sandwiches, donuts, etc.
