The basic ingredients required to cook the healthy warn mushroom salad receipe are: 2 1/2 tbsp balsamic or rice vinegar, 1 1/2 tbsp water, 3 tbsp port wine (or any sweet red wine), 2 cloves garlic, finely minced, 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced into 1/4-inch slices, 1 tsp margarine, 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper, or to taste, 4 leaves of Boston lettuce, rinsed and dried and 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley. Method:

  • Take a nonstick pan and put vinegar, water, wine and garlic in it. Now heat them on a moderate flame, until small bubbles begin to form.
  • Add mushrooms to it and stir properly for about 10 minutes, or till the entire liquid gets evaporated.
  • Add margarine and pepper and stir properly.
  • Place mushrooms on the lettuce leaves and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Now your delicious warm mushroom salad is ready to be served.
