Valentine Taper Candles

Very easy to make, these romantic Valentine taper candles make excellent gifts for Valentine's Day for teenagers. They can also be used to set a romantic candle light dinner for you Valentine. The heart candies look like shiny gems at the base of the candle. This candle craft does not take more than half an hour to finish.

Things You Will Need:

Craft Sealer
Hot Glue
Large Heart Candies
Paintbrush
Red Taper Candles
Salt
Water
Water Jug

Method:

Add 1-cup salt to 2 quarts of water in the jug and soak candles in it overnight so that they do not drip.
Glue four large heart candies to the base of the taper candle at an even distance from each other.
Brush thin coat of craft sealer on the hearts and let it dry.
Apply three coats more, letting the previous coat dry completely.
