Decorative Pots for Gardening Mom

Easy to make, these decorative pots become excellent class craft projects for young children and gifts for Moms who love gardening. Decorative pots are popular Mother's Day gift but it is the message written on it that makes it special for the effort. Kids love to make gifts with their own hands and proud mothers love to put them on display on balconies, window sills, gardens, patios and decks.

Things You Will Need:

Construction Paper in Different Colors
Hot Glue
Paint
Paint Brush
Pencil
Permanent Markers
Photos of Children
Potted Plant
Scissors

Method:

Paint flowerpot and let it dry.
Draw flowers on the construction paper of different colors with big centers.
Cut out the flowers and paste photos of children in the center of each flower. If there is only one child, choose different poses.
Glue the flowers randomly on the pot.
Draw vines, stems and leaves using permanent markers of different colors and write "Mom, We Bloom Under Your Care and Love."
