A common phenomenon experienced by men and women, razor burns cause severe skin irritation. Caused by shaving, with a razor, the burns, though not too visible, are often very uncomfortable for the affected person. Razor burns, which include nicks and cuts, often appear as a mild rash, which disappears after a few hours or days, along with the discomfort, depending upon the seriousness of the condition.
