Hives Information
Hives is a skin rash that causes red, itchy and
raised areas on the skin surface. Medically known as urticaria, hives
are the result of allergic and non allergic reactions. It leaves rings
or large patches, of varying in shapes and sizes, on the skin. While
some hives are a few millimeters in size, others may extend to several
inches in diameter. Hives can strike anywhere on the body, such as the
trunk, face, lips, tongue, throat, ears, arms and legs. In the following
