Lice infestation is a common human problem. In medical terms, it is referred to as pediculosis. Lice are basically of three types - head lice, body lice and pubic lice. It goes through the stages of nit, lymph and adult louse in its lifecycle. Lifespan of lice is only about 30 days and they die as soon as they get isolated from the human body.

Symptoms Of Lice:
- Itching on scalp
- Reddishness on scalp
- Repeated scratching might lead to skin infections
Causes Of Head Lice:
- Head to head contact with the person having head lice
- Sharing combs, hat, pillow etc
- Lack of personal hygiene like not taking bath daily, not wearing clean washed clothes and so on.
