Cataract is an eye ailment that causes blurred
vision. In this disease, a cloud-like thing develops on the lens of the
eye, which may cause slight to complete opacity. Obstructing the light
from entering the eye, cataract is mostly seen in old age people. It may
either affect one eye or both the eyes of a person. The early signs of
the ailment are near-sightedness or myopia and gradual yellowing and
opacification of eye lens, which reduces the perception of blue color.
Though a non-contagious ailment, cataract needs to be treated on time,
