Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is
the apex Industry body representing 38 leading vehicle and vehicular
engine manufacturers in India.
SIAM acts as an important via media for the Automobile Industry with
the Government, National and International organisations. SIAM works in
close coordination with all the concerned stakeholders and actively
participates in formulation of rules, regulations and policies related
to the Automobile Industry.
SIAM's aims to enhance trade and technical cooperation between the
Indian Automobile industry and its international counterparts. It
facilitates up gradation of technical capabilities of the Indian
Automobile industry so as to match the best global practices.
SIAM organizes the biennial Auto Expo series of trade fairs in
co-operation with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive
Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA).
